There has always been a top battle between batters and bowlers in Test cricket and those battles have been nothing short of spectacular. The ultimate aim of the batter is to display patience and perseverance.

The bowler’s aim is to read the batsman’s mind and bowl at the right line and length to look for any breakthrough. On the other hand, the batters tend to survive the battle and try not to take any unwanted risk especially when the bowlers are bowling wicket-taking deliveries.
