IPL 2023 Prize Money:When the dust settles on the Indian Premier League 2023, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the T20 showdown between the Chennai Super Kings and the Gujarat Titans on May 28. It has been announced how much money will be paid to the winning and runner-up teams before the championship game.

A report by Sportstar states that INR 7 crore would go to the victorious team in the Eliminator, the Mumbai Indians, and INR 6.5 crore will go to the losing Lucknow Super Giants. A prize of INR 20 crore will be granted to the competition’s winner, with INR 13 crore going to the runner-up.

In the second qualifying round, defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) crushed Mumbai Indians (MI) by 62 runs to advance to the IPL championship game. On Sunday, May 28, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the defending champions will face the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

In the first inning, the Gujarat Titans scored an incredible 233 runs thanks to a brilliant hundred by Shubman Gill. In response, the reigning champions coasted into their second consecutive final thanks to Mohit Sharma’s masterful bowling.

At his most destructive in the first inning, Shubman Gill blasted six out of the park with relative ease. Gill’s stunning 129 from 60 balls included 10 sixes and 7 fours for a remarkable strike rate of 215.00, and he completely dismantled the opposing bowling unit. In addition, he and Sai Sudharsan raised a stunning 138-run stand that maintained the Titans’ lead. The team was able to score 233 runs in their first innings because of crucial contributions from Sai Sudharsan (43 off 31 balls) and captain Hardik Pandya (28* off 13 balls).
