Mumbai Indians have been one of the top teams in the Indian Premier League history. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians accomplished many great things in their journey. The major highlight of their journey was winning five titles in the IPL.

Today, they are the most successful franchise in the history of the IPL as they have decorated their trophy cabinet with 5 IPL titles and 2 Champions League titles. However, they failed to bring the best out of themselves in the previous edition of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians hardly put their foot on the gas pedal as they literally struggled to produce a spark in crucial junctures of the game. As a result, they have been on the receiving end, more often than not in the IPL 2022 season.

Talking about their performance, they finished at the bottom of the group stage points table as they won just four matches and lost the rest of the ten matches in the competition. However, they will be looking forward to doing well in the sixteenth edition of India’s premier T20 competition.
