“Can you follow me on Instagram?”, Ravindra Jadeja trolls Nathan Lyon by following him on Instagram for 24 hours

"Can you follow me on Instagram?", Ravindra Jadeja trolls Nathan Lyon by following him on Instagram for 24 hours

On “Day 3,” when it appeared like Australia might be able to put some pressure on the Indians by setting a respectable goal for them to chase, Ravindra Jadeja pounced like a rash on their batting order and recorded his best-ever numbers in a Test match.

The all-rounder returned with bowling statistics of 12.1-1-42-7 in the second innings, including a seven-for, and the Australian batting order was wiped out for only 113 runs in 31.1 overs in the morning session.

With a target of 115 runs and another chance to wrap up a home Test match in three days, India was given the chance they needed thanks to Ravichandran Ashwin‘s (16-3-59-3) dismissal of the remaining three wickets.

While they lost four wickets during their reply, India was never in any danger to their deep batting lineup, and they reached their mark with six wickets in hand in 31.1 overs.

India has maintained its unblemished record at the Arun Jaitley Stadium and, more significantly, kept the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at home.

You’re right on the money if you guessed that Jadeja was named “Player of the Match” after taking out 10 batters across both innings. The first Test at Nagpur was not the only time he had earned the accolade.

On “Day 1” of the second Test, when Australia elected to bat first, Nathan Lyon was at the crease, and the Australian off-spinner asked Jadeja to follow him on Instagram. Jadeja, however, said that he does not follow anybody on Instagram.

“Can you follow me on Instagram? You don’t follow anyone else? Can you follow?”, Lyon was heard via the stump mic requesting Jadeja to do so from the non-striker’s end.

In response, Jadeja promptly bowled a ball to Peter Handscomb, but he was unable to be heard agreeing or disagreeing with the request.

Only a few minutes earlier, Jadeja listened to him and added Lyon as the only one to follow. However Jadeja was not to be outdone, and he also trolled him by posting a tale in which he said that he would only be following him for 24 hours.
