Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester United. He was born on February 5, 1985, in Portugal. He is the captain of the Portuguese National Football Team and is often regarded as one of the greatest footballers to be born. He is a 5 time Ballon d’Or winner and 4 times European Golden shoe winner which is the highest for any European Player. He holds the world record for the most number of international goals scored which is 111 goals.

There was confusion and suspense that what will possibly be Ronaldo’s jersey number at the United. Cavani had number 7 and Ronaldo’s first jersey number 28 was available. Ronaldo could have number 7 if Cavani agreed to leave that number. Eventually, Cavani agreed to switch on number 21 and Ronaldo got back his number 7.
