Australia’s opening batsman David Warner implied the Bazball approach in the second Test against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and then reaped rewards on the second day.

The experienced campaigner who was criticized for his poor form in Test cricket of late ensured to dictate terms in his milestone match. It was good to see him making a stellar rebound in red-ball cricket as he scored his double century in his 100th Test.

Moreover, it was his third double century in the longest format and Australia largely benefitted from his services in the second Test as they have scored 386/3 at the end of the day’s play. With three more days in hand and with Australia in a commanding position, they are certain to clinch the game and the series.

Meanwhile, David Warner’s wife, Candice Warner couldn’t have asked for a better and complete performance from David Warner in his milestone match. Candice Warner was absolutely delighted that her husband dominated the proceedings in the second Test.

Upon scoring the double century, Candice Warner reserved the highest respect for Warner on her Instagram handle. Candice Warner who is quite active on social media praised her hubby by saying he is simply remarkable.

Candice Warner was also happy that Warner silenced the critics with this special knock that wouldn’t have been possible without a gladiator batting effort against the likes of Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi.

Warner who defied the odds and came through with flying colours in the first innings of the first Test responded to the post by thanking his wife and said that her support means the world to him. He was retired hurt after scoring a double ton and had to walk off the field with the help of a trainer.
