“Duck in 200th IPL match” – Twitter reacts after Rohit Sharma gets dismissed for a three-ball duck against PBKS

Mumbai Indians are playing against Punjab Kings in the 46th match of the ongoing season of the IPL. The game is taking place at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl first.

The Mohali-based franchise posted a humongous total of 214 for the loss of three wickets in their designated quota of 20 overs. Liam Livingstone who scored his first fifty this season went on to hammer 82 off 42 balls including seven fours and four sixes.

On the other side of the coin, Jitesh Sharma also played pretty well as he chipped in with 49 off 27 balls including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Livingstone and Jitesh constructed 119 off 53 balls against Mumbai Indians and powered the team to a massive total.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma once again had a dismal day at the office. This time around, he was dismissed for a three-ball duck against Punjab Kings in the first over of the game.

The right-handed batsman made a room outside and hit Rishi Dhawan for a possible boundary or a six. However, Matthew Short who was positioned at square third man took the catch in his safe pair of hands near the boundary rope.

Rohit Sharma registered his 15th duck in the history of the Indian Premier League. He was not a happy man after getting dismissed in this fashion in his 200th IPL match.
