Renowned Italian newsperson Fabrizio Romano has reported to Give Me Sport that Memphis Depay’s arrival in Tottenham is still unclear. The Dutch attacker was likely to join the Spurs in the January transfer window. He is said to be composed of all the rumors surrounding his move to the English Club.
Romano has said, “At the moment, from what I’m told, there are many rumors but nothing concrete, not with Tottenham or with any other club. Everything is so calm around Memphis Depay.”
Memphis Depay has had a decent run as a debutant in Camp Nou but he finds himself at a crossroads. He even secured himself the position of joint-top scorer for Barca. But he has seen himself being a pushover for the team, with Barcelona signing up four attackers.
Depay is being currently treated as a substitute for Xavi Hernandez, which can be seen as he only has an aggregate of 131 minutes of total time played in three matches. Since there is a chance of Depay looking to move on, The Lilywhites may bag the chance to sign him.
Tottenham will delve into the market to rejuvenate their offensive in the January transfer window.
