“Feeling happy for my boy” – Twitter reacts as Rishabh Pant will be at the stadium tomorrow to support Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals failed to kick-start their IPL 2023 campaign properly while locking horns with Lucknow Super Giants. They struggled to find out a way in the run-chase and ended up messing up the plot completely.

Lucknow Super Giants got the better of Delhi Capitals by 50 runs at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. KL Rahul couldn’t be any happier upon seeing his team get off to a good start.

However, David Warner wasn’t a happy man after how things turned out for them. Batting first, the Lucknow-based franchise scored 193/6 in their designated quota of 20 overs. In response, Delhi Capitals scored 143/9 and lost the game.

Rishabh Pant will be at the stadium to support the team against Gujarat Titans

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals’ main skipper Rishabh Pant will come to the stadium to support his team in tomorrow’s fixture against Gujarat Titans at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Rishabh Pant was expected to feature for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2023.

However, that wasn’t meant to be as he met with a car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. He was heading to his home early morning all alone in his car and as per the reports, he dozed for a while before he rammed into one of the divider linings.

He underwent surgery and is currently recuperating. Delhi Capitals’ Director of Cricket Operations, Sourav Ganguly confirmed that Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the entire edition of the IPL. As a result, Delhi Capitals made David Warner the captain.

Meanwhile, in the latest development, it was confirmed that Rishabh Pant will be at the stadium tomorrow to support Delhi Capitals in the team’s fixture against Gujarat Titans. The defending champions kick-started their title defence with a win over Chennai Super Kings.

It remains to be seen how Delhi Capitals will approach the tough challenge after losing the first game.
