“Ganguly thanking DC’s 12th man”, Fans react as a video showing Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly shaking hands after the game between DC and RC goes viral

After the 2023 Indian Premier League match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Delhi Capitals, Virat Kohli shook hands with Sourav Ganguly in the stands at the Arun Jaitely Stadium. After the game, everyone was waiting to see whether the two titans of the game would shake hands. When these two teams met up before, Kohli and Ganguly did not shake hands.

During the earlier match, it seemed like Kohli gave the former BCCI president a cold stare. Kohli was removed from the position of ODI captain under Ganguly’s presidency of the BCCI. The 2021/22 season was his last as T20I and Test captain.

Now, Kohli is merely the captain of the squad in the absence of Faf du Plessis and plays in the IPL as a specialist batter.
