“Good advantage for Australia before World Cup” – Twitter reacts as Australian players will be in India for around 6 months in 2023

Australia

Australia cricket team recently relished two positive results in the opening two Tests of the three-match Test series against the South African national cricket team. Pat Cummins and Co won the first Test by six wickets to draw first blood in the series.

After that, they won by an innings and 182 runs to clinch the Test series by 2-0. The fact that they have lost only one Test so far in the second cycle of the ICC World Test Championship goes to show how well the Aussies have approached red-ball cricket.

It remains to be seen whether or not how they perform in the four-match Test series against Team India. As of now, they will be focusing on the third and final Test against South Africa, which is scheduled to be held on January 4 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Pat Cummins and Co will be sticking to the same winning template in the third Test match in Sydney. With Proteas running short of ideas and clues, it just gives us a clear hint that Australia will more likely inflict a whitewash on the Proteas.

Australia players will be in India for around 6 months in 2023

Meanwhile, the ODI World Cup will be held entirely in India for the first time and the Men in Blue will start the tournament as favourites, given the home conditions. However, it seems they will be fighting some tough battles as plenty of overseas players will come to India to play the IPL.

Meanwhile, Australian players will be in India for around six months in the fresh calendar year and it is an absolute advantage for them going forward into the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. The Aussies will come to India to play four Tests and three ODIs (February to March).

During the April to May window, Australia-bound IPL players will be playing the cash-rich IPL. After that, they will be playing three ODIs against India in the first week of October. Then, they will be playing the ICC ODI World Cup (October – November) and after that, the Aussies will be playing the T20I series against India.
