Before the massive Indian Premier League match between the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Arun Jaitley Stadium, batting master Virat Kohli met with his boyhood coach Rajkumar Sharma. The audience went wild when Kohli showed up for practice before the game, showing their support for their favorite player.

Before the much-anticipated game, he went directly to see Rajkumar and touched his feet to ask for his blessing. The stadium was packed for the sold-out major match, and spectators seemed to be rooting for local kid Kohli rather than the Delhi Capitals.

As for Saturday’s match between RCB and the Delhi Capitals, RCB won the toss and opted to bat first. Kedar Jadhav was a part of RCB’s starting lineup for the marquee matchup. Recently, the Indian all-rounder replaced the injured David Willey of England. Willey will miss the rest of the season due to his injury. Du Plessis decided to bat first on Saturday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi because he thought dew wouldn’t be an issue.

“We are going to have a bat, looks like a dry surface, and hopefully there won’t be dew tonight. T20 cricket has got to do a lot with momentum, we got to assess the conditions and post a good score. We have got a lot of away games, for me it’s not an issue. With this new impact player rule, you can be so flexible. We have batted well in the top four, and we have done bulk of the scoring. Kedar Jadhav comes back for us,” Du Plessis said at the toss.
