The County Championship is nothing but the first-class cricket competition based in England and Wales. For the record, the County Championship involves as many as 18 teams representing various counties.

It is organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Notably, this first-class cricket competition has been played since 1890. It is rated as one of the most valuable domestic cricket competitions in the world.

It is played in a league format, with each team playing against every other team two times, in the form of home and away format, which makes the format a bit more interesting.

Each game lasts for four days and the points will be awarded to the teams for winning, drawing or losing a game. At the end of the season, the team with the most points is announced the County Champions. In recent times, the competition went through many changes in terms of the format and the structure.

In 2021 onwards, the competition was played in 2 groups of nine teams each, with the top two teams from each group making it to a knockout stage to find out the new County Champions.

During the course of the game, the bowler Henry lose control in the run-up as he drops the ball accidentally on the pitch. Meanwhile, Pakistan cricketer, Azhar Ali who is playing this competition playfully hit the ball for a possible boundary.
