“He’s a very chilled, friendly, ‘Yaaron ka Yaar’ type guy” – Shikhar Dhawan speaks highly of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma

Indian captain Rohit Sharma is currently spicing it up in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai Indians captain failed to lead the batting attack by example as he scored just 1 off 10 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Besides that, he also failed to come up with proper tactics while trying to defend the target. Royal Challengers Bangalore got the better of Mumbai Indians by eight wickets and opened their account with a superb win.

Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming El-Clasico, slated to be held on April 8, Saturday at the tightly-packed Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Shikhar Dhawan speaks highly of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma

Punjab Kings’ skipper, Shikhar Dhawan reserved the highest respect for Rohit Sharma during an interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. The veteran cricketer spoke highly of Rohit Sharma by adding that the latter is a gem of a person.

Furthermore, Dhawan added that Rohit Sharma is a very chilled, friendly, ‘Yaaron ka Yaar’ type of guy. He also added that Rohit Sharma is always ready to help others.

Shikhar Dhawan has fallen out of the Indian selectors’ radar and his international future totally lies in the hands of the Indian selectors. However, Dhawan wouldn’t ponder too much about that as he will be focusing on delivering the goods as a captain and batsman for Punjab Kings.

The Mohali-based franchise got off to a surreal start to this season. They got the better of Kolkata Knight Riders in their first game as they won the game by seven runs (DLS Method). After that, Punjab Kings secured a 5-run thriller win over Rajasthan Royals in the second game.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma failed to win their first game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB beat MI by 8 wickets at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
