Former Indian captain Virat Kohli must be really disappointed with the mode of his dismissal during the first innings of the first Test match against Australia at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

India’s run-scoring machine could have avoided playing the shot which was going way down the leg side. However, he chose to play it and fell for the trap set by debutant Todd Murphy.

While Virat Kohli tried to nudge it, he ended up giving it straight to Alex Carey behind the stumps. Australia’s wicketkeeper-batsman showed an incredible presence of mind as he took a good catch.

Virat Kohli departed for 12 runs and was literally frustrated with himself for getting dismissed for a cheap score. However, he will be looking forward to making his presence count surely in the upcoming Test.
