“I had heard that someone sent you a legal notice, and now he’s gone” – Salman Butt takes a swipe at Ramiz Raja

Ramiz Raja was on the receiving end of trolls after he was sacked as Pakistan Cricket Board chairman recently. Apart from him, the board also sacked Muhammad Wasim-led selection panel and the development came after Pakistan’s recent performance against England.

Pakistan cricket team were clueless in all three games of the Test series at home as they surrendered at the hands of Ben Stokes and Co. It was also the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket, they suffered a whitewash in their own backyard.

The board appointed Najam Sethi as the new chairman. Just days after getting sacked as chairman, Ramiz Raja launched a scathing attack on the board by adding that they didn’t even let him take his belongings.

Later on, the board’s Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer assured that Ramiz Raja’s things are kept in a safe place. PCB’s COO further added that the things will be returned to the concerned person as part of the customary hand-over.

Meanwhile, former Pakistani cricketer, Salman Butt took a dig at the former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja over the legal notice, which was sent to Kamran Akmal by the Pakistan Cricket Board in the wake of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, where the Green Shirts ended up as the runners-up after losing to England cricket team in the final.

During the live interaction on Salman Butt’s official YouTube channel, Butt said he heard that someone sent him (Ramiz Raja) a legal notice, and now he is sacked but nobody noticed it in the first place.

Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal who also joined the interaction made it very clear that it was totally a misunderstanding by the media and nothing as such happened. Akmal further also answered back by asking, why will he even get a legal notice in the first place.
