The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is organized to be the seventh edition of the ICC Men’s t20 World Cup tournament. Check ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Team Squad and Players List.
It is scheduled between 17 October to 14 November 2021 in UAE and Oman. At first, the tournament was supposed to happen in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, International Cricket Council (ICC) declared to postpone the tournament from July 2020 to 2021. However, ICC confirmed that the 2021 championship will be hosted in UAE and Oman.
Papua New Guinea certified for the first time for ICC T20 World Cup through ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers followed by other teams like the Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Ireland, and Oman.
Earlier, ICC confirmed Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates as backups for the ICC T20 World Cup venue. Keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in mind the ICC allowed the teams to take extra 7 players if the tournament is played insecure environment.
