Chennai Super Kings once again proved that they are the most powerful team at their fortress. MS Dhoni and Co got the better of Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets to notch up their fourth win in the sixteenth edition of the IPL.

Moreover, the yellow army brought up their 20th win in their last 24 matches at their fortress “Anbu Den” or Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. They have the best win percentage at home in the history of the competition.

Chennai Super Kings have played six games so far this season. Notably, they have won four games and lost the other two games. Talking about the just-concluded game between CSK and SRH, Devon Conway and Ravindra Jadeja were the best-performing players for CSK.

CSK defeat SRH by 7 wickets to notch up their 4th win this season

The four-time IPL champions churned out their fourth win this season by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 29th game of the IPL 2023 season. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to post just 134/7 in their quota of 20 overs.

Ravindra Jadeja was the star performer for CSK with the ball as he took three wickets to his name, giving away just 22 runs in his quota of four overs as he maintained an economy of 5.50.

In response, CSK chased down the target in 18.4 overs, courtesy of a stellar batting performance from Devon Conway. The left-handed batsman continued his stellar form this season by scoring his third fifty on the trot.

He chipped in with a match-winning 77 off 57 balls as he composed his innings with the help of 12 fours and a six. Conway remained unbeaten throughout the innings and guided the team to a win.
