Manchester United Is Interested In Signing THIS Goalkeeper For €75M To Replace David De Gea

Manchester United are on the lookout to offer The Primeira Liga Club goalkeeper Diego Costa for an astounding 75 million euros, as per a report by Fichales.net, while David De Gea, the current goalkeeper’s future in the club remains clouded by uncertainty. Costa is reportedly in the crosshairs of Barcelona too.

De Gea currently has an ongoing contract for Manchester United for this season, along with an option to extend his tenure by one year, though there has not been any sort of indication from the club that they might choose the aforementioned clause.

Manchester United is offering to replace the 32-year-old goalie’s contract with a lower pay scale which would reflect his current rating. After the nasty exit of Cristiano Ronaldo from the club, David De Gea became the highest-paid player, with a salary of 375,000 per week, which is an impasse if he is to stay with a new contract drawn up.

On the other hand, Diego Costa is on the rise and called a new protégé in Portuguese Football, and he was in the lineup of the Portuguese national football team playing all the matches.

Meanwhile, he has secured an extension from FC Porto, which could mean that he will be utilized to his maximum potential and get offered a much higher paycheck shrouding the recent transfer of the Spanish keeper Kepa Arizzabalaga’s transfer to Chelsea.

Diego has gotten the approval from Erik ten Hag, Manchester United Club’s manager, having been impressed by his skill to distribute the ball, while De Gea has to reach the same level of fine ball-playing.

On the other hand, Barcelona might let go of Marc-Andre de Stergen, who has been the target of Bayern Munich for a while now. But Costa’s newly appraised value of 75 million euros may disinterest the Culers, while Manchester is in right position to sign him up.
