While Axar Patel scored 54 off just 25 balls including 4 fours and 5 sixes, David Warner scored 51 off 47 balls including six fours. On the other side of the coin, Piyush Chawla and Jason Behrendorff took three wickets each for Mumbai Indians.

In response, Mumbai Indians largely benefitted from the services of skipper Rohit Sharma who scored 65 off 45 balls. He constructed his innings with the help of six fours and four hits over the fence.

On the other hand, Tilak Varma performed pretty well with the bat as he scored 41 off 29 balls including one four and four sixes to his name. In the end, the likes of Cameron Green and Tim David chipped in with vital contributions to guide the team to a thriller win.

Anrich Nortje bowled incredibly well in the last over as he nearly helped the team defend the total. However, Tim David and Cameron Green ensured to steer the team to a win.
