"Only track where Aussie pacers would have got something..waiting for conspiracy theories from Fox cricket", Twitter reacts as India Vs Australia 3rd Test in Dharamsala has been shifted to a new venue

A senior BCCI official revealed to Indian Express on Sunday that the location of the third Test between India and Australia had been moved from Dharamshala.

The whole outfield, including the pitch, had been resurfaced by the HPCA. An official told The Indian Express on Friday that the untested pitch wasn’t a serious problem. Concerns remain unresolved since work on the “little portion near the square” has not yet been finished.

One of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world, the HPCA stadium only held one Test match in 2017 between India and Australia. Despite its frequent use for T20 and ODI matches, the HPCA had planned to reconstruct the whole outfield with consideration for the local climate. After the downpour ended, workers began the relaying process.

When the field has been relaid, the usual procedure is to play a test game. However, the official said that this has not occurred. While construction in Dharamshala progressed, Himachal played all of their home Ranji Trophy matches in Nadaun.

โ€œThere is still some work that needs to be done near the side area of the pitch. We are hopeful that things will be ready before the game. The HPCA will take a call after the BCCI inspection. We have relaid the whole surface with proper drainage and have added sprinklers to the ground. Some work is still pending and as three weeks are left we feel the work will be completed,โ€ a source in HPCA had said to Indian Express on Friday.
