Punjab Kings largely benefitted from Jitesh Sharma’s services in the middle and lower-order batting order in the current season of the IPL. Having played eleven games so far, he has scored 260 runs at a staggering strike rate of 160.49.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina made the headlines after he came up with a massive remark on the uncapped IPL star, Jitesh Sharma. While speaking to Hindustan Times, Suresh Raina said that he is pretty sure that the selectors are keeping a tab on Jitesh Sharma.

For the record, Jitesh Sharma was earlier in the Team India squad as replacement for Sanju Samson in the T20I series against Sri Lanka but failed to find a place in the playing XI.

Raina reserved the highest respect for the young cricketer by saying that his wicketkeeping skills are good. Besides that, he stated that Jitesh Sharma has good hitting abilities and that the fans will see more of it in the future.
