Rahul Dravid breaks his silence on the mystery food that was offered to Virat Kohli during the second day of the second test match against Australia

On Day 2 of the second Test Match between India and Australia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, on Sunday (February 19), coach Rahul Dravid explained the riddle of the meal served to player Virat Kohli.

Kohli and Rahul Dravid were caught on camera in the middle of a heated argument that has since gone viral on social media. The guy then tapped him on the shoulder to let him know that his food package had come.

The star cricketer clasped his hands in delight at the anticipation of the tasty meal. Fans on the internet were left wondering what Kohli had eaten.

Cricket analysts Sanjay Manjrekar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Mark Waugh, as well as host Mayanti Langer, were heard gushing over Virat Kohli’s affinity for Chole Bhature.

In an interview with Gaurav Kapoor of the ‘Oaktree Sports’ YouTube channel in 2017, Kohli admitted his fondness for this meal.

After much speculation, India Team coach Rahul Dravid set the record straight, saying that the meal was really Kulche Chole and not Chole Bhature.

“He was tempting me with it but I said I’m 50 years old, I can’t handle so much cholesterol anymore,” Dravid informed.

In the second test match against Australia, Virat Kohli reached 25,000 runs during his international career. In the first innings, he scored 44 runs, then he added another 20 in the second. India won by a score of 6 wickets and now leads the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series with a score of 2-0.
