Real Madrid, Chelsea, And Liverpool Lock Horns For The £129M Star Signing

The British newspaper outlet Sun has reported the Los Blancos are allegedly ahead of the race to sign Jude Bellingham for next season. The British Midfielder is also being considered a viable target by European bigwigs like Chelsea and Liverpool.

Jude Bellingham has seen his stock rise high after his stunning performance during his time at Borussia Dortmund. He has been a very dependable figure for The Black and Yellows this season and one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old has had a robust 2022-23 season, securing 9 goals and 3 assists in the 22 appearances. Although England crashed out in the quarter-finals during World Cup, there were no complaints about Bellingham’s performance. This caught the attention of clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool

In the meantime, Real Madrid is coming up with a blueprint to handle the retirement of Tony Kroos and Luka Modric. Hence, the Englishman’s name has surfaced as someone the Los Blancos are considering as their next big star midfielder. Dortmund has reportedly asked for the Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in exchange.

Chelsea has reportedly agreed to fork out the asking price by Borussia as their midfield situation is concerning. Both of their dependable midfielders, N’Gola Kante and Jorginho are way past 30 and their contracts are in the final year, which has a low chance of getting renewed.

Meanwhile, Liverpool is looking forward to rejuvenating their midfield outfit in the upcoming summer transfer window. Bellingham will be a solid, long-term acquisition that the team can bank upon. Reportedly they are the closest to Real Madrid when comes to signing the teenage prodigy.

It will be exciting to see what happens to the Borrusia Dortmund midfielder as he will be leaving the club in the following season and which club will bag the deal. Manchester United has reportedly joined in on the race to sign Jude next year.
