Judging by reports, La Liga leaders Real Madrid are willing to grant Liverpool target, Jude Bellingham, a €12 million annual deal
According to a rumour by Cadena SER, Real Madrid will shortly give Jude Bellingham a five-year agreement for €12 million per year. Los Blancos will also make an offer to Borussia Dortmund of €100 million. To top it all off, they’ll be hoping to get the English international before Liverpool does.
Since his historic debut with Birmingham FC a few years ago, Jude Bellingham has made tremendous strides in his career. The 19-year-old has gone from strength to strength since joining Borussia Dortmund and is currently considered one of the world’s top midfielders. And he plays a major role for England’s national team as well.
The adolescent wonder has experienced a spectacular 2022/23 season so far, scoring nine goals and three assists in 22 games. Real Madrid and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Bellingham, therefore he will likely leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.
While Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are getting on in age, Real Madrid will try to add Bellingham to their squad. The aged midfield veterans remain crucial characters for Los Blancos. However, they are starting to wind down their illustrious career, therefore Real Madrid is making plans for the future. The 19-year-old is their primary focus.
But Liverpool’s lacklustre start to the 2022–23 season has prompted the club to actively pursue a new central midfielder. The two players, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, have been very hot and cold. Furthermore, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner are all in the last year of the contract. Therefore, Bellingham has become an option for Liverpool.
The Reds, though, are reportedly certain that the English international would sign with Real Madrid. The Merengues are prepared to provide Bellingham with a five-year deal for €12 million annually. Also, Real Madrid is prepared to pay €100 million to Borussia Dortmund in return for the target that Liverpool has set its sights on.
No one knows whether Dortmund will be willing to part with Bellingham for under €100 million. However, the €12 million annual agreement should entice the adolescent prodigy. If Real Madrid makes an offer to sign him before Liverpool does, it would be a major coup for them.
