Chennai Super Kings’ batsman Ambati Rayudu possesses a truckload of experience as far as the Indian Premier League is concerned. The experienced campaigner literally knows how to assess the conditions and go about his business.

The right-handed batsman is best known for his potential to up the ante and score runs when it mattered the most for the team. He is one of the important players of the Chennai Super Kings’ strike force.

The veteran will be looking forward to scoring more runs to his tally this season in order to help the franchise claim the fifth IPL title. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli spoke about Ambati Rayudu during an interview with JioCinema recently.

Meanwhile, former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, Virat Kohli reserved the highest respect for CSK’s middle-order batsman, Ambati Rayudu by labelling him as the most underrated player in the Indian Premier League of all time.

It’s indeed a huge compliment for Ambati Rayudu. The right-hander has played as many as 193 games in the IPL wherein he scored 4264 runs at a strike rate of 127.44 including one century and 22 half-centuries to his name.

It is worth noting that he has remained unbeaten on 32 occasions. As far as his shot selection is concerned, he scored as many as 355 boundaries whereas he smacked as many as 168 sixes in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Meanwhile, Ambati Rayudu is yet to kick off properly for CSK in the sixteenth edition of the IPL. The right-handed batsman mustered only 74 runs in the five games he played for the franchise. He maintained a batting average of 24.67 and has a strike rate of 148.

It will be quite interesting to see how he will respond in the upcoming games for CSK. The four-time IPL champions will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chidambaram Stadium on April 21, Friday.
