“Talk about craze” – Twitter reacts as 2 Mumbai Indians fans traveled 10,000 km to watch the MI game in Mohali

Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of the Indian Premier League with five titles in the tournament. Mumbai Indians won all those five titles under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

The face of Mumbai Indians changed completely in IPL 2013 edition when MI beat CSK to win their maiden IPL title. Mumbai Indians once again got the better of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2015 season to win their second IPL title.

Rohit Sharma and Co defeated Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2017 to win their third title. In the IPL 2019 season, MI once again locked horns with Chennai Super Kings in the final. MI beat CSK in the final to win their fourth title.

In the subsequent season, Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals in the final to win the fifth IPL title, the most by any team in the history of the IPL. Mumbai Indians also defended the title for the first time in history.

Mumbai Indians have a massive fan-following not just in India but across the world. Being the most successful franchise means that they have an enormous fanbase. At the same time, it’s also not uncommon for fans to be immensely passionate and dedicated in their support for their favorite cricket team.

Recently, two Mumbai Indians fans travelled 10,000 km to watch the Mumbai Indians’ game against Punjab Kings in Mohali. Two people from abroad travelled all the way to Mohali (in India) to witness the MI game. Fans often become emotionally invested in the result of games and tournaments.

Talking about the match, Punjab Kings posted 214/3 in their quota of 20 overs. In response, Mumbai Indians chased down the target with seven balls to spare as they won the game by six wickets in Mohali.
