“That is like a soft rock chill kind of version, and I loved those” – Virat Kohli reveals the songs that he listens to ahead of the start of the IPL 2023

IPL 2023: On March 31, 2023, the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to begin, and cricket fans all over the globe are anticipating the return of perhaps the largest Twenty20 league in the world.

With the revival of the event comes the return of a fan-favorite team: the Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB’s star-studded lineup has made them the most beloved team in the IPL despite their lack of championship success.

One of their greatest talents, Virat Kohli, was recently seen in Bangalore for the upcoming IPL 2023 sporting a fresh new tattoo on his arm. The 34-year-old man is covered with tattoos, with around eleven total. Kohli said, “It’s still a work in progress,” when questioned about the significance of his most recent one.

“Yeah, it is still a little bit of a work in progress. It is only half right now, so I really cannot explain the meaning of it,” Kohli said on RCB bold diaries. The Lord Shiva tattoo on Kohli’s left forearm is just one of several he’s received in the past. The significance of his most recent tattoo is still unknown.

Kohli was also asked about the songs he is currently grooving on, to which he responded: “I’ve now actually gone back in time now and downloaded Arijit Singh’s MTV Unplugged playlist, that is like a soft rock chill kind of version, and I loved those.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Faf du Plessis in the next 16th season of the Indian Premier League (2023), will face the five-time defending champion Mumbai Indians in the tournament’s fifth match.

After a disastrous 2022 season in which they finished dead last in the IPL standings, Mumbai will be eager to redeem themselves in the upcoming 2023 season.
