Former Indian captain Virat Kohli couldn’t find his rhythm flowing through his willow in Test cricket for more than three years. He was long been slammed for his inability to end his Test century drought.

In the first three games of the Border Gavaskar Trophy series, Virat Kohli failed to find a way to come out on top and he registered his best score of 44 in the second Test in Delhi.

However, he rose to the occasion and eventually ended his Test century drought by scoring an impeccable hundred in the fourth and final Test match against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The right-handed batsman brought the best out of himself in the first innings of the fourth Test as he went on to score his 28th century. Moreover, it is also his 75th century in international cricket.

Virat Kohli was en route to scoring a double-century in the first innings. However, he was dismissed on 186 by Todd Murphy. Kohli composed his innings with the help of 15 boundaries during his stay at the crease.

The fourth Test between Team India and the Australian cricket team ended in a draw as India won the Border Gavaskar Trophy series by 2-1. Virat Kohli was adjudged the player of the match for his valuable innings.

After receiving the man of the match award, Virat Kohli said that he is not here to prove anyone wrong. Speaking on the same lines, he added that he wants to justify himself and score important runs for the Indian cricket team.

Virat Kohli will be seen in action for the three-match ODI series against the Australian cricket team, with the first ODI slated to be played on March 17, Friday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
