Dasun Shanaka led the attack by example by scoring runs at the rate of knots. He took the bowling attack to cleaners by hitting two fours and 6 sixes to his name. Apart from him, Kusal Mendis chipped in with 52 off 32 balls including three boundaries and four sixes.

Arshdeep Singh’s childhood coach gives valuable advice to the paceman

Sri Lanka were able to get the extra punch in their batting as they capitalized on the chances to better effect. On the other hand, Indian seamer Arshdeep Singh had a bad day at the office as he leaked as many as 37 runs in just two overs.

He went wicketless in the game and also failed to adhere to the basics while bowling. Arshdeep Singh bowled as many as 5 no-balls and also became the first Indian bowler to carry this unwanted record.

Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh’s childhood coach, while speaking to TOI said that the paceman was not looking in good rhythm during the match day. He further added that the no balls happened owing to the lack of practice.

Arshdeep’s childhood coach further added that he and Arshdeep will discuss this soon. It will be quite interesting to see how the Indian seamers would approach the series decider as the head coach Rahul Dravid confirmed that there will not be chopping and changing too much in the dead rubber. The Men in Blue haven’t lost a T20I series against Sri Lanka at home and will be looking to maintain this record.
