Old video clip of Naveen-ul-Haq messing up with Thisara Perera goes viral

Meanwhile, an old video clip of Naveen-ul-Haq messing up with Sri Lanka’s Thisara Perera in Lanka Premier League is now doing the rounds on the internet. The video clip begins with Naveen-ul-Haq purposely intervening Thisara Perera at the non-striker’s end while Perera was trying to take another run to make to the striker’s end.

Just as when Perera reached the non-striker’s end, Naveen-ul-Haq intervened Thisara Perera and caused a bit of distraction. Meanwhile, Thisara Perera didn’t like it one bit as tensions flared up during the game.

While both the cricketers were up to a verbal fight, the umpire quickly calmed things down a bit. This isn’t the first time that Naveen-ul-Haq picked up a fight with a senior cricketer. During the 2020 edition of Lanka Premier League, he indulged in a war of words with Mohammad Amir and Shaheed Afridi.
