Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently playing against Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the sixteenth edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League. The blockbuster clash is being held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Talking about the game, Lucknow Super Giants’ skipper, KL Rahul won the toss and invited Faf du Plessis and Co to open the face of the blade first. RCB unleashed their true colours in the form of Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell.

Initially, former RCB captain Virat Kohli scored a fifty. After that, Faf du Plessis chipped in with a fifty whereas Glenn Maxwell also played superbly well and scored a productive half-century as RCB lit up the stadium.

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, Faf du Plessis drew plaudits for his terrific innings against Lucknow Super Giants. Faf du Plessis took quite a lot of time to get settled at the crease and was playing second fiddle to Virat Kohli.

In the first 31 balls, he scored only 33 runs to his name. However, in the next 15 deliveries, he showcased an incredible acceleration in the end overs and helped the team escalate the scoreboard with his attacking brand of cricket.

Faf du Plessis remained unbeaten on 79* off 46 deliveries against Lucknow Super Giants. He composed his innings with the help of five sixes and five fours at a strike rate of 171.74. In the end, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a humongous total of 212/2 in their quota of 20 overs.
