Royal Challengers Bangalore are playing against Punjab Kings in the 27th match of the ongoing edition of the IPL. The game is currently being held at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 174/4 in their designated quota of 20 overs. Faf du Plessis was the pick of the batters for RCB as he came in as an impact player and delivered the much-needed goods for the team.

Royal Challengers Bangalore largely benefitted from the batsman’s services. Faf du Plessis scored 84 off 56 balls including five fours and five sixes. On the other hand, Virat Kohli scored 59 off 47 balls including five fours and a six.

During Punjab Kings’ innings, a hilarious incident happened during the fifth ball of the 11th over. Harshal Patel bowled a dipping full-toss and to which, Jitesh Sharma missed the ball completely.

He attempted to flick the ball towards the leg side and gets beaten on the inside edge. Meanwhile, Harshal Patel made a full-hearted appeal and umpire Sadashiv Iyer was quick to make his decision by raising his finger. However, the TV replay suggested a different story. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were playing Stone Paper Scissors during the TV reply. The video clip has gone viral.
