WATCH: Runs galore as cricket fraternity witnesses a 46-run over in KCC T20 trophy

The cricket fraternity has stumbled upon interesting, crazy and some insane incidents in a local domestic T20 tournaments. Over the years, we have witnessed some unbelievable moments in such tournaments.

These moments have well and truly brought joy and happiness in the faces of the fans. Although they are not professional cricketers, they are sports enthusiasts who tend to entertain the fans by playing to their strengths.

For the record, local T20 tournaments are cricket competitions that are held at a grassroots level in several regions. These tournaments are  usually organized by local cricket clubs, associations or sometimes even governing cricket bodies.

The ultimate purpose of the local cricket tournament is to promote and develop the sport at a local level. We must have seen some amateur players of all ages who come out to showcase their skills while also gaining a match experience.

These underrated tournaments that don’t often hog the limelight are often played for a few days or sometimes, it can last up to few weeks. We have also seen some multiple teams playing in a round-robin format knockouts.

Meanwhile, an interesting video clip of a batsman scoring runs for fun in the KCC Trophy drew some attention. The video clip begins with a cricketer named “Vasu” who can be seen targeting Harman in the 15th over.

The right-handed batsman was looking to punish every single ball that came towards him. In the process, he piled up enough runs on the board. Harman bowled some no-balls and to which Vasu capitalized all the deliveries to great effect. As it turned out, the team piled up as many as 46 runs in a single over in the KCC Friendi Mobile T20 Champions Trophy 2023.
