West Brom vs Brighton Team News:

West Brom:

Mowatt and Johnstone have both been suspended, with the latter set to be replaced in goal by either David Button or Alex Palmer, who used to play for the old Brighton and Hove Albion. Apart from that, the hosts will be missing Robert Snodgrass, Matt Phillips, Dara O’Shea, and Kean Bryan, all of whom are out injured, and Semi Ajayi, who is away on international duty with Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations, who will be absent as well.

Karl Grant and Grady Diangana are expected to start in attack alongside Robinson, with Darnell Furlong and Adam Reach possibly operating as wing-backs ahead of Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Conor Townsend. Robinson has five goals in five appearances in the FA Cup, with four of those coming against non-league opposition, and is expected to start alongside Grant and Diangana.

Brighton:

As for Brighton, Lewis Dunk and Jeremy Sarmiento are still out with long-term injuries, while Yves Bissouma is abroad with Mali for the African Cup of Nations. Jurgen Locadia signed a permanent contract with Brighton and Hove Albion on Thursday, ending his four-year stint at the Amex Stadium. He will now play for Bundesliga team VfL Bochum.

Potter may decide to give first-team opportunities to players such as goalkeeper Jason Steele, midfielder Jakub Moder, striker Steven Alzate, and striker Danny Welbeck, with the likes of Robert Sanchez, Enock Mwepu, Adam Lallana, and Neal Maupay potentially being dropped as a result.
