“What if you get dismissed for 195 on Day 4” – Twitter reacts after Usman Khawaja said it would be pretty hard if Pat Cummins declares the innings with him remaining unbeaten on 195*

Australia have been the most dominant team as far as the ongoing cycle of the ICC World Test Championship are concerned. The fact that they have lost just one game tells us that they have worked their socks off to reach the high level.

In fact, they have been playing the sport on a high level across formats. However, as far as the Test format is concerned, they have been fearless, sharp and decisive across all aspects of the game.

Pat Cummins and Co are currently involved in the third and final Test match against the South African cricket team. The first two Tests already came to a close with the Aussies winning both games and the series.

Australia won the first Test by six wickets at The Gabba in Brisbane and took the first lead in the series before beating the same opposition by an innings and 182 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Usman Khawaja steals the show for Australia in SCG Test

Australia’s opening batsman Usman Khawaja looked so comfortable with the bat in the third Test against the South African cricket team. Batting first, Australia posted 475 runs for the loss of four wickets in 131 overs before the stumps were called on Day 2 due to bad weather.

The third day turned out to be a massive disappointment as the entire day was called off due to rain. Usman Khawaja was the pick of the batters for Australia as he remains unbeaten on 195* where he struck 19 boundaries and a six.

The southpaw who has scored 19 centuries and 19 fifties in Test cricket is just five runs away from his first double century. After Day 3, Usman Khawaja jokingly said that it would be quite hard if the skipper Cummins declare the innings with him being on 195. Australia will resume the game on Day 4 and it will be interesting to see how Khawaja would approach the game on the next day.
