"Which media interaction was this?" - Shubman Gill drops a hint on whether he has a crush on Rashmika Mandanna

The news that Indian cricket star Shubman Gill, age 23, has a crush on actress Rashmika Mandanna has lately dominated the headlines. Fans went crazy when they learned that Gill had a “thing” for the Indian actress, which was reported on a Bollywood news website.

According to the post, supporters are waiting impatiently for Rashmika to respond to Gill’s confession of a crush on her during a recent media interview.

The flames, however, were immediately quenched when Gill commented beneath that post to dispel the rumours.

What did Shubman Gill say?

“Which media interaction was this, that I myself don’t know about,” Gill commented under the post.

It was decided to bench Indian batsman KL Rahul after he failed to impress in either of the first two tests for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Many people thought it was time to replace the 30-year-old with Shubman Gill as the opening batsman with Rohit Sharma after he scored just 38 runs in two games.

Gill was selected as the opening batsman for the Test Match at Indore, but he, too, failed to contribute significantly by scoring runs. Throughout his two innings, the 23-year-old batsman contributed 26 runs, helping Australia to a final victory by nine wickets.

In the deciding game of the series, which will be played in Ahmedabad, it would be intriguing to observe whatever lineup Team India chooses to use against Australia. The hosts can’t afford to lose focus now, since they’re so close to the final of the World Test Championship. The team headed by Rohit Sharma will likely try their hardest to win.

If India loses the third and final Test of the series, they will need help from New Zealand to reach the WTC final. On March 9 in Ahmedabad, India and Australia will square off at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
