Women’s Tennis Open Also known as WTA is a women’s tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. The inaugural edition was played in 2021 in Abu Dhabi and was the inaugural edition of the WTA500 Tournament on the 2021 WTA Tour. The event took place at the Zayed Sports City International Tennis Centre in Abu Dhabi, from 6 to 13 January 2021. The 2022 WTA will be the second edition of the tournament. The second edition is expected to take place in the month of January.
