Delhi Capitals are locking horns with Mumbai Indians in the 16th match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians’ skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited David Warner and Co to bat first.

Delhi Capitals got off to a quickfire start in the form of skipper David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. The duo added 33 runs for the opening wicket before Hrithik Shokeen dismissed Prithvi Shaw for 15 runs.

On the other hand, Manish Pandey and David Warner tried to score runs at a rapid pace. Just as when Manish Pandey was heading towards a decent score, he was dismissed for 26 off Piyush Chawla’s bowling.

During Delhi Capitals’ innings, skipper David Warner made the headlines after he turned right-handed batter during the free-hit delivery against Mumbai Indians at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Meanwhile, netizens came up with interesting and hilarious reactions to David Warner’s reaction to free-hit. Nobody would have thought Warner batting as a right-hander, that too on a free-hit delivery.

However, David Warner surprised all of us by playing an unusual shot and didn’t score a boundary. Delhi Capitals posted 136/5 in 16 overs, at the time of writing this article.

David Warner scored a half-century off 43 balls with the help of six boundaries whereas Axar Patel is batting on 28 off 14 balls with the help of 3 fours and two hits over the fence. On the other hand, Piyush Chawla was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai Indians as he registered 3/22 in four overs.
