Who is going to replace Carlo Ancelotti as the manager of Real Madrid?

Mikel Arteta, the current manager of Arsenal, allegedly might be approached by Real Madrid if Carlo Ancelotti decides to leave Madrid this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has been often speculated to leave the Santiago Bernabeu. Multiple sources have indicated that he is the frontrunner to replace Tite as Brazil’s manager. It is also speculated that the Italian coach might be let off if Los Blancos fail to win a championship in 2022–23. Fichajes.net has reported that Los Merengues has already begun looking for Ancelotti’s replacement.

The report claims that Real Madrid are keeping an eye on Arteta, who now coaches Arsenal. If Ancelotti leaves or is fired at the conclusion of the season, the 14-time European winners are said to be interested in signing him.

Arteta, a six-time winner of the Premier League Manager of the Month award, got off to a rough start last season at the Emirates Stadium. Since then, he’s settled down and become a top strategist for the English national team. With his guidance, Arsenal has risen to the top of the Premier League, where they now have a four-point advantage over second-place Manchester City.

Arteta is now constructing a promising endeavour at Arsenal and is likely to continue his tenure there indefinitely. He also lacks the European experience that the current champions of Europe prize highly.

Who is going to replace Carlo Ancelotti as the manager of Real Madrid?

Arteta has taken charge of 179 games thus far, according to FootyStats, and has won 69.05% of them. Conversely, Ancelotti has a winning percentage of 68.09% throughout the course of his career (647 matches) despite managing heavyweight clubs like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Bayern Munich.

Catalan news site El Nacional claims that Real Madrid’s victory against Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal left Nacho Fernandez feeling disrespected.

According to reports, the youngster had great hopes that Carlo Ancelotti would start him in the crucial match on April 18 in West London. The Spaniard was hoping to get some playing time when David Alaba got hurt and he was nominated as a replacement.

But Ancelotti angered Nacho by substituting Antonio Rudiger for Alaba to open the second half. The dynamic central defender, who has spent his whole life at Real Madrid, replaced Dani Carvajal in the 81st minute.

Nacho may choose not to extend his contract, which expires in June 2023, if he continues to be dissatisfied with his status as a substitute player at Santiago Bernabeu. He has played in 310 games for the senior squad since being promoted in 2012, scoring 16 goals.
