“We are a team that does well away from home” – Twitter reacts as RCB will be playing their last home game till May 21

Royal Challengers Bangalore led by Faf du Plessis have performed quite well as a team in the sixteenth edition of the IPL. Having played seven games so far this season, they have won as many as four games and lost the rest of the three games.

As things stand, they have collected eight points and are now at the fifth spot in the IPL 2023 points table. They opened their account by beating Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

However, they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants in the next two games. They made a stellar comeback in the next game against Delhi Capitals but lost to their rivals, Chennai Super Kings in the Southern Derby.

After a heartbreaking defeat to their rivals, Royal Challengers Bangalore went on to win the back-to-back games against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Currently, they have a Net Run Rate of -0.008.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore are prepping for the next game against Kolkata Knight Riders which will be held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru tonight. It will be quite interesting to see which team will win the game this time around.

In fact, RCB will be playing their last home game till May 21 and they will be playing five continuous away games following the KKR game. They will play against Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow, Delhi Capitals in Delhi, Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, Rajasthan Royals in Rajasthan and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad.

After these five away fixtures, they will return to their fortress to play against Gujarat Titans on May 21. Meanwhile, this will be the second meeting between RCB and KKR in IPL 2023. In the first leg, RCB lost to KKR by a big margin of 81 runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
