Overall, he has scored 4459 runs at an average of 26.2 including 20 half-centuries to his name. Moreover, he has maintained a strike rate of 132.6 in the competition. Currently, he is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

Dinesh Karthik was part of Mumbai Indians’ title-winning team that defeated Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2013 final to win their maiden IPL glory. It was Rohit Sharma’s debut season as captain and he brought the best out of his teammates.

Batting first, Mumbai Indians posted 148/9 in their quota of 20 overs. Kieron Pollard top-scored with 6o off 32 balls where he struck seven fours and three hits over the fence. In response, CSK ended up at 125/9 in 20 overs. MS Dhoni top-scored with an unbeaten 63 off 45 balls including three fours and five hits over the fence. MI beat CSK by 23 runs at Eden Gardens.
