Lucknow Super Giants were tactically brilliant with the bat and ball while locking horns with Mumbai Indians in the 62nd match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The match took place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

Both teams had firepower and ammunition in their arsenal. However, in the end, Lucknow Super Giants had the last laugh in the battle. Batting first, they posted 177/3 in their designated quota of 20 overs, courtesy of Marcus Stoinis’ unbeaten 89*.

In response, Lucknow Super Giants lost the plot in the first half of the game. However, they managed to make a surreal comeback in the latter stages of the game. In the end, when MI required 11 off the last over, Mohsin Khan turned out to be the hero for LSG.

He defended the total in the last over and helped the Lucknow Super Giants franchise secure a thriller victory over Mumbai Indians at home. Mohsin Khan conceded only four runs in the last over and weaved the magic for the hosts.

He finished his bowling spell at 1/26 in three overs. His last over changed the entire complexion of the game. With Tim David and Cameron Green at the crease, the majority of the fans in the cricket fraternity expected that Mumbai Indians would defy the odds.

However, Mohsin Khan conceded just four overs and helped Lucknow Super Giants secure a terrific thriller win over Mumbai Indians. Lucknow Super Giants won the game by five runs.
