Lucknow Super Giants’ all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has once again proved that he is worth the weight in gold in the ongoing fixture against Mumbai Indians at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

The tall guy with monstrous hitting abilities once again let his bat do the talking in the game when it mattered the most. The big man who has played many vital and impactful knocks for LSG once again turned up the ante, that too on a slow and tough wicket.

While the majority of the batters struggled to dictate terms, Marcus Stoinis single-handedly took the game away from the opposition with his tremendous batting skills. He brought up his half-century off just 36 balls.

After that, he switched gears and shown tremendous acceleration while locking horns with the Mumbai Indians’ bowlers. Lucknow Super Giants largely benefitted from the batsman’s services, which steered the scoreboard to 177/3 in 20 overs.

He remained unbeaten throughout the innings and maintained an exceptional strike rate of 189.36. On the other hand, Krunal Pandya played pretty well as he scored 49 off 42 balls including 1 four and 1 six before he retired hurt.
