"Class batting by Klaasen" - Twitter reacts after Heinrich Klaasen scored his maiden IPL century against RCB

Sunrisers Hyderabad might have been knocked out of the playoffs race this season but they are playing as “party poppers” in the finishing stage of the season. As of now, only Gujarat Titans have qualified for the IPL 2023 playoffs.

Other teams are fighting tough battles in order to make it to the playoffs. However, if SRH beat RCB, then the likes of Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants will automatically qualify for the playoffs, irrespective of their result in their last game.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 65th match of the ongoing edition of the IPL. The game is currently being held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Heinrich Klaasen scored his maiden IPL century against RCB

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad once again benefitted from the services of Heinrich Klaasen in the middle order. He has been the best-performing batter for SRH this season.

For sure, he will be retained by the franchise ahead of the next season. The wicketkeeper-batsman absolutely belted the RCB bowlers like a hot knife through butter. In the process, he went on to smack his maiden IPL century.

Notably, it is also the second-fastest century by an SRH batter in the history of the Indian Premier League. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored 104 off 51 balls where he constructed his innings with the help of 8 fours and 6 hits over the fence. SRH posted 186/5 in 20 overs.
