'Where Was This Guy When Were Playing Cedric'-Fans React As Arsenal Player Marcelo Flores Is Set For A Loan Move To Real Oviedo

Fabrizio Romano says that Arsenal star Marcelo Flores is set to join Santi Cazorla’s old team Real Oviedo on loan for the 2022–23 season. Real Oviedo plays in Spain’s second-tier league. Romano says that the move is a “done deal.”

Flores, who is 18 years old, has played well for both Arsenal’s Under-18 and Under-23 teams. Last year, he made it into the second team and scored four goals from midfield in 10 Premier League 2 games.

Flores was in such good form that his name was on the team sheet for the 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. The talented player, who was born in Canada, has also won three caps for Mexico.

But he is about to go to Spain for his first loan and move away from Arsenal. Real Oviedo, where Cazorla was an academy player for seven years, is going to loan the Arsenal player to them for the 22-23 season.

The background behind the loan move of Marcelo Flores

Flores did something very smart. The second level of football in Spain is very good, and the Mexican international will be put to the test by it. At this point in his career, he could come back to play for the Gunners if he does well at that level.

Arsenal knows that Flores is a very good player, and they will have picked Oviedo out of all the clubs that were after him. There were reports in March that Mikel Arteta loves the playmaker.

So, this is a huge chance for Flores, who will be hoping to make a big difference in Spanish football.
