Khephren Thuram, a 21-year-old midfielder, has drawn attention from Liverpool and Manchester United

Thuram has been added to the France roster for the next Euro Qualification matches. The 21-year-old is set to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Marcus and father Lillian in the coming weeks when he makes his debut on the international stage.
In 2016, Thuram became a part of AS Monaco’s youth program. Before joining OGC Nice in the summer of 2019, he worked his way up through the club’s junior divisions. Since joining the French club, the 21-year-old’s performance has only improved.
He has appeared in 129 games for the Ligue 1 club and has contributed to 19 goals. The Nice midfielder has been rock-steady in defence this season. His 39 appearances have resulted in 10 goals scored by him.
The current term of the contract between Nice and the French international continues until the summer of 2025. But, he may be leaving this summer for a larger team. His outstanding results have not gone unnoticed. Thuram has attracted interest from some of the best football teams in the world. They’re most likely to make a move for him this summer.
Who will get Khephren Thuram?
The 21-year-old has drawn interest from many Premier League teams, including Manchester United and Liverpool. This season has been a rough one for Jurgen Klopp and his squad. Nevertheless, the midfield’s inconsistency is mostly to blame.
The German boss is looking to completely revamp his midfield and has his sights set on the Nice defensive midfielder. Klopp thinks he’d be a good match for the club and that he has a lot to give in the future. But they have competition, as United is also keen on signing him up.
Since joining Old Trafford before this season began, Erik ten Hag has been phenomenal. The Red Devils are ready to make their comeback to the UEFA Champions League the next season. They want to improve their roster to contend for championships next year.
Ten Hag is looking to add a defensive midfielder to his roster. The Dutch coach wants to add depth to his midfield and thinks Thuram would be a suitable replacement for Casemiro.
