Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were involved in a war of words after the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Batting first, RCB posted 126 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs with the help of Faf du Plessis’ 44. In reply, Lucknow Super Giants were unable to chase down the target as they were bowled out for 108 runs, losing the game by 18 runs.

After the game, tensions flared up as things didn’t look good between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. Both of them were seen exchanging a few words. Following the verbal spat, both of them were fined 100% fees.

Meanwhile, the former RCB captain took to his official Instagram handle and then posted a story featuring a popular quote by philosopher Marcus Aurelius. The quote says, “Everything we hear is just an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth”.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have now moved from sixth to fifth in the IPL 2023 points table. Having played nine games so far, they have won five games and lost the remaining four games.
