Having taken off Travis Head and Steve Smith in rapid succession, Hardik Pandya got India back in the game. Mitchell Marsh and David Warner are now at the crease for Australia, where they are both undefeated. Captain Steve Smith of Australia won the toss and elected to bat first against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday. During the toss, India captain Rohit Sharma said that his squad would stay unchanged for the match, but Smith said that David Warner and Ashton Agar would be replacing Cameron Green and Nathan Ellis in the starting lineup.

It was a quick good length delivery that was just outside the off-stump line. Steve Smith makes an effort to play the cover drive. KL Rahul performs the rest of the work behind the stumps as the ball gets a hefty outside edge.

On March 22, at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the third and final one-day international between India and Australia is being played. The score in this series is tied at 1.

Hardik Pandya picks Steve Smith for a duck

India won the first game of the series by five wickets in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, but Australia evened the series with a resounding ten-wicket triumph at Vizag’s Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.

When the series comes down to a final ODI, India is the one feeling the heat. Of the 27 bilateral ODI series played in India since 2009, the Men in Blue have won 24 of them. After taking down Sri Lanka and New Zealand in 3-0 series victories, the squad was looking unstoppable this year.
