MS Dhoni is one of the best finishers in the world. After his retirement from international cricket in August 15, 2020, he is still plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings in the cash-rich Indian Premier League.

Under his tutelage, Chennai Super Kings have won four IPL titles (2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021). The yellow army have also made a bold statement by churning out seven wins this season and are on the cusp of qualifying for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has certainly made his presence count as a captain and batsman this season. Even in the lesser deliveries he has been facing, he is ensuring to make every ball count with his six-hitting abilities.

His incredible potential to clear the boundary consistently with powerful hits and his calm and calculated approach to finishing games have well and truly solidified his status as one of the most hard-hitting batters in cricket.

In the earlier part of this season, MS Dhoni sustained a knee injury in the home game against Rajasthan Royals at Chepauk. There were reports that MS Dhoni might be missing few games but he took a big risk to play every game for CSK.

During the recently-concluded game against Delhi Capitals at Chepauk, MS Dhoni made his presence count by smashing 20 off just nine deliveries where he hammered as many as two sixes and a four to his credit.

Meanwhile, a recent picture featuring MS Dhoni and Irfan Pathan at CSK’s dressing room has gone viral on the internet. The picture shows that MS Dhoni had already applied an ice pack on the knee.

The picture of the same grabbed the fans’ attention and the majority of the fans were indeed convinced that MS Dhoni will be playing one more season for Chennai Super Kings.
